The Enemy

I’m sitting here in my office staring at the safe in which my loaded gun rests. I’m contemplating what to write in my suicide note to my family and friends. The stress of this world is weighing heavy on me. The enemy whispers, “where is your God when you need him?” Like a serpent, he slithered his way into my thoughts. The tears start to well up in my eyes. Then I remember my loving God. He was always with me and He is with me now. The enemy just prowled his way in like a roaring lion ready to devour my soul. The devil is a liar and he’s trying to deceive me. I pray to my Heavenly Father for help and He sends my son to me. I see my boy and my heart is filled with joy and I smile.

Wear your Armor of God. Fight and win each battle. Never forget that God is always with you.
